The price of gold and silver in global market and Pakistan dropped again for the second consecutive day.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by a massive Rs7,100, bringing the new rate to Rs533,262, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs6,087, settling at Rs457,186. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also declined by Rs5,580 to be sold for Rs419,102.

International gold prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by a huge $71, reaching $5,105 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs324 to Rs8,851, while 10 grams of silver also decreased by Rs278 to be sold for Rs7,588.
