The federal government has announced spring vacations for educational institutions operating under its administration, according to an official notification.
Authorities confirmed that federal government educational institutions will remain closed for four days, with the break aligned with the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
According to the notification issued by the authorities, federal government educational institutions will remain closed from March 24 to March 27.
The decision applies to schools and other educational institutions operating under the federal government. Students and staff will resume academic activities once the holiday period concludes.
These holidays, combined with the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays a weekend before and the weekend after the spring break, give the students an opportunity to enjoy a long break of at least 10 days.
The notification further states that educational institutions will reopen on March 30 after the completion of the spring break. Regular classes and administrative activities are expected to resume from that date.
Vacations aligned with Eid-ul-Fitr
Officials said the spring vacations have been combined with the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, allowing students and teachers to enjoy an extended break.
The move aims to streamline the academic calendar and reduce disruptions around the festive period.
