British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has said that the United Kingdom has joined the war against Iran.
In a statement, Sir Keir Starmer said British aircraft are present in the skies over the Middle East and that the United Kingdom is taking part in action against Iran.
The prime minister said British aircraft are engaged in a co-ordinated regional defensive operation. He added that it is essential to reduce tensions and return to negotiations.
He said that talks are under way with Germany, France and other leaders in the region.
Meanwhile, the head of Iran’s National Security Council said that when colonial powers enter a country their sole purpose is the plunder of resources, adding that the president sitting in America reflects the same mentality.
