American Guinness World Record holder David Rush marked his birthday in memorable fashion by setting a new world record with the help of family and friends.
Hailing from Idaho, Rush arranged 20 pennies into two towers in the fastest time ever recorded. He attempted the challenge alongside his brother Jonathan, sister-in-law Courtney, and friend Andrea.
On his website, Rush described the challenge as deceptively simple: one tower with ten pennies, another tower with ten pennies. Four participants form a team, and the timer stops only when the twentieth penny is placed perfectly. “But simple doesn’t mean easy,” he noted.
Rush recounted that during the attempt, the towers collapsed dozens of times, scattering the pennies, before the team successfully completed the record.
The birthday celebration turned into a remarkable feat of precision, teamwork, and perseverance, adding another Guinness World Record to Rush’s growing list of achievements.
