Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to represent Pakistan at the 56th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), scheduled to take place in Switzerland later this month.
The World Economic Forum’s annual meeting will be held from January 19 to January 23 in Switzerland, bringing together world leaders, policymakers, and business executives.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will depart for Switzerland on January 18 for a four-day official visit to attend the high-level forum.
Sideline meetings with world leaders expected
During his participation at the WEF, the prime minister is expected to hold important sideline meetings with global leaders and representatives of international organizations.
These engagements are aimed at discussing economic cooperation, investment opportunities, and Pakistan’s role in the global economy.
