Renowned Pakistani actor and host Faysal Quraishi has candidly spoken about his fears as a father of young children.
In a recent interview, he shared how parenthood has reshaped his priorities and heightened his concerns about the future.
The actor said that having a family naturally brings worry, especially when children are still very young and dependent.
Fear of leaving children unsettled
Speaking honestly, Faysal explained that his biggest fear is not living long enough to see his children settled. He described this as a common tension among parents who have children later in life.
He shared that the thought of leaving his children without stability deeply troubles him as a father.
Concerns over lack of security in Pakistan
Faysal Quraishi also raised serious concerns about the lack of social and financial security in Pakistan. He questioned what protection or support families receive if something happens to the breadwinner.
Referring to senior actors who passed away, he said that the assistance provided afterward was minimal, often limited to small financial cheques.
Prioritising family over sleep
Despite his demanding schedule, Faysal emphasized that he never compromises on time with his children. He revealed that he makes it a point to be involved in their daily routine, even if it means sacrificing sleep.
The actor said taking his children to school every morning is a routine he refuses to skip.
Faysal Quraishi is currently earning praise for his performance as Kamran in Case No. 9, airing on Geo TV. His career includes acclaimed dramas such as Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, Bashar Momin, Muqaddar, Khaie, and Fitoor.
He is happily married to Sana Faysal, and the couple shares two children, Ayat and Farman.
