Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Yousaf Ahmed, visited the General Headquarters (GHQ) where he met Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest and the regional security situation were discussed during the meeting. Both sides also exchanged views on further enhancing defence and military cooperation.
The visiting dignitary appreciated the professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces and paid tribute to their role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening defence ties with Jordan and emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation in addressing evolving security challenges. Both brotherly countries also reiterated their shared resolve to expand military-to-military cooperation.
