Istehkame-e-Pakistan Party President Abdul Aleem Khan has stated that creating new provinces is essential to improve administrative efficiency and better address the problems of the public.
Speaking at a Christmas event in Lahore, Abdul Aleem Khan said that if more provinces are created, people’s issues can be resolved more effectively.
He further mentioned that the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party’s manifesto supports the creation of new provinces. “To this day, no one seems to understand why there is objection to the establishment of new provinces.
Federal Minister for Communications highlighted the difficulties faced by citizens of southern Punjab, who must travel several hours to reach Lahore, and people in Balochistan, who travel over 1,100 kilometers to reach Quetta.
He said, “Even for us living in Lahore, many challenges arise. Imagine the difficulties for people coming from remote areas to the secretariat.”
Abdul Aleem Khan expressed gratitude to MQM for supporting the creation of new provinces. He added that discussions on this matter would also continue with other political parties, and hoped that patriotic friends would support the move.
On national security, Aleem Khan praised the Pakistan Army for responding strongly to Indian aggression. He claimed that seven Indian aircraft were downed, including the identification of the Rafale jets, and that Pakistan’s soldiers sacrificed their lives for the country, leaving their own children orphaned for the sake of future generations.
He stressed, “Because of the sacrifices of our armed forces, we are safe at home. False propaganda is being spread against the country on social media. Politics has no restrictions, but keep politics in the political arena. We will not allow anyone to speak against those who sacrificed for the nation and will hold accountable those speaking against the Pakistan Army.”
