President Asif Ali Zardari has returned the Daanish Schools Authority Bill, 2025 to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for reconsideration in view of the need for provincial consultation.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, President Zardari has signed key bills into law after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s approval. The president approved the Evidence (Amendment) Bill, 2025.
The president assented to the King Hamad University of Nursing and Associated Medical Sciences Bill, 2025.
The president also approved the National Commission for Minorities Rights Bill, 2025.
Prior consultation with the relevant provincial governments is essential in the event of establishing Daanish schools in the provinces, the president said.
