Adviser to the Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah said on Sunday that former army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa was responsible for the false cases lodged against him.
Expressing his thoughts, Sanaullah, said that during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government's tenure, Qamar Javed Bajwa, Faiz Hameed, and Imran Khan were managing affairs, adding that no action could be taken without the approval of the chain of command.
He added that during a briefing, Bajwa remarked that “Rana Sahib has become very overweight. He looked very smart in jail. Faiz Hameed should make him smart again.” To this, Sanaullah replied that “the case has been filed against me by you. May God settle the account in this world itself.”

Last month, expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme "Mere Sawal with Absar Alam", Sanaullah said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan wants to lead a movement from jail.
He maintained: "The PTI founder has always called for staging long marches and spreading unrest.
Taking a jibe at Imran Khan, Sanaullah said: "The PTI founder served four years as the country's prime minister. He did not engage in talks then. Even now, he remains against dialogue with opponents."
