A joint counterterrorism exercise, Warrior-IX is underway between the Pakistan Army and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two-week exercise aims to enhance mutual cooperation and promote military-to-military collaboration. China’s Ambassador Jiang Zaidong attended the event as a special guest, while the Chief of General Staff also participated in a personal capacity.
During the visit, the distinguished guests were briefed on the scope, objectives, and arrangements of the joint exercise. They observed various counterterrorism drills and praised the participating troops for their professional skills, capability, and high morale.
The exercise reflected the strong defence cooperation between Pakistan and China. It reaffirmed the determination of both armed forces to work together for peace and stability.
