Alia Bhatt has spoken candidly about her daughter Raha Kapoor’s growing comfort with the paparazzi, sharing how the little one has begun developing her own relationship with photographers as she grows older.
The actress recently attended the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, where she reflected on how motherhood has reshaped her life and public appearances.
Alia revealed that Raha, now three, has become noticeably more aware of her surroundings — including the ever-present paparazzi.
“Now Raha has her own relationship with the paparazzi, and she is old enough to ask me where I am going and when I will be back,” she shared.
She noted that the last time she attended the festival, Raha was just one year old. With time, Alia says her daughter has turned more curious, often wanting to know about her mother's day-to-day activities and travel plans.
Motherhood and shift in perspective
Alia also reflected on how her personal and professional perspectives have evolved since becoming a mother. She compared her current self to her younger, fearless 18-year-old version, who believed she could “grapple everything with her fist.”
Now, she describes her life as “beautifully chaotic,” shaped by responsibilities, evolving interests, and new experiences — both at home and on the global stage.
Speaking about her international appearances, Alia discussed her red-carpet journeys to major events like the Cannes Film Festival and the Met Gala, acknowledging how motherhood now influences the way she approaches such high-profile commitments.
Despite the busy schedule, she said she continues to embrace each moment — both the glamorous and the grounded — with renewed purpose.
