YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala reached Islamabad on a foreign flight late last night, where their return drew significant attention due to multiple ongoing investigations against them.
Both Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala remained inside Islamabad airport for several hours before being allowed to leave. Once cleared, they exited the terminal under protective custody provided by their own private guards, avoiding any interaction with law enforcement officials on-site.

According to sources, Rajab Butt’s expected arrival time at New Islamabad Airport was 11:15pm. Despite hours of delay at the airport, neither was arrested, owing to protective bail granted by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

On Wednesday morning, IHC's Justice Inam Amin Minhas heard the petition seeking protective bail for Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala. During the hearing, the petitioners’ lawyer informed the court that a case had also been registered against them in Karachi and requested 15-day protective bail to allow sufficient time to appear before the relevant court.

Justice Inam Amin Minhas, however, granted 10-day transit (protective) bail and instructed the petitioners to approach the court concerned within this period.
IHC order prevents arrest
A day earlier, Justice Raja Inam Amin had issued clear directions that the two should not be arrested at Islamabad airport upon their return. The court ordered both individuals to appear before the high court instead, ensuring they had safe passage from the airport.
The pair had proactively obtained protective bail from the Islamabad High Court before traveling back to Pakistan, enabling them to avoid arrest despite active investigations.
Both Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala face several cases, including allegations related to a gaming app and cybercrime violations. These cases were registered by the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency in September.
Authorities confirm that investigations remain ongoing, and both social media figures are expected to appear before the court as directed.
