Federal Minister and President of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Abdul Aleem Khan has congratulated Field Marshal Asim Munir on his appointment as Chief of Defence Forces, calling the development highly commendable.
He said that Asim Munir’s leadership and commitment to the defence of the country are a matter of great pride.
Aleem Khan stated that Asim Munir will set a new precedent as the country’s first Chief of Defence Forces, adding that his appointment for the next five years sends a clear message to hostile forces. He said the entire nation stands united behind the Pakistan Army and its leadership.
He also congratulated Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Baber Sidhu on receiving a two-year extension, noting that Sidhu’s leadership of the Pakistan Air Force had delivered a historic lesson to India.
Aleem Khan added that every citizen prays for the continued success of Pakistan’s armed forces and the country’s strong defence. He paid tribute to what he described as the “true heroes of 250 million Pakistanis” and prayed for their success in fulfilling their responsibilities.
