The United Arab Emirates has astonished the world again. The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has unveiled the world’s largest silver ingot.
This massive ingot weighs 1,971 kilograms - symbolically representing the year 1971, when the UAE was founded. The giant bar has officially secured a Guinness World Record.
According to Arab media, the historic unveiling took place on 24 November during the Dubai Precious Metals Conference, attended by precious-metals experts and investors from around the globe.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, stated that the 13th edition of the conference achieved several major milestones, the most remarkable of which was this extraordinary silver ingot. Measuring 1.3 meters in length, the bar is a testament to exceptional craftsmanship.
Officials noted that the weight of the ingot not only signifies the year of the UAE’s founding but also symbolizes the nation’s innovation, craftsmanship, and growing global influence.
