A robot in China sets a Guinness World Record after it completes a 66-mile walk.
According to details, the Chinese technology company AgiBot secures the record when its humanoid robot, A2, covers the 66-mile route from Jiangzhou in Jiangxi province to Shanghai on foot.
A2 sets off from Lake Jinji and reaches Shanghai without a stop, due to a system that allows it to move even during battery replacement.
The 24-hour trek enabled AgiBot to establish the Guinness World Record for the longest walk by a humanoid robot.
AgiBot said that A2 follows all traffic rules throughout the journey and crosses asphalt surfaces, tiled floors and bridges.
According to Chinese media reports, the robot remarks at the end of the walk that it may now need a new pair of shoes.
