Bollywood’s legendary actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89, leaving not only India but also Pakistan’s showbiz community in mourning. Celebrities from both countries have taken to Instagram and other social media platforms to pay tribute to the iconic actor.
Dharmendra passed away in Mumbai, leaving behind a void that many say is impossible to fill. The actor had been battling multiple health issues, including respiratory problems, which led to his hospitalization earlier this month.
Over a career spanning six decades, the Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’ appeared in more than 300 films, including iconic classics like Sholay, Seeta Aur Geeta, and Chupke Chupke. His debut film released in 1960, and his final movie, Ak21, is set for release this December.
Among those paying tribute, Pakistani actress Reema Khan shared a photo with Dharmendra from their meeting in 2004, writing, “Cinema has lost its heartbeat, but Dharmendra’s light will never dim.”

Actress Mahira Khan also shared Dharmendra’s photo on her Instagram story to honor his memory. Actor Adnan Siddiqui wrote, “Dharmendra made acting look effortless, as if he was born for the screen. His gentleness, charm, and the unique sparkle in his eyes were unmatched.”
