Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said on Sunday that the 'karma' did the job and she took no revenge against anyone.
Speaking to media in London, CM Maryam said that political opponents subjected her party to victimisation, yet, in her words, ‘nature took revenge for that revenge’. She said the atmosphere changed wherever Nawaz Sharif went.
The chief minister said she held great respect for former prime minister Benazir Bhutto. She questioned why judges’ consciences did not awaken when sentences were handed down against her and her family. She said there was no doubt that the PTI government operated through sorcery and occult practices.
CM Maryam said the appointment of the Field Marshal as the chief of the defence forces was a strong decision. She said no one could match Field Marshal Asim Munir for this office.
She maintained the COAS demonstrated exceptional leadership in the war against India and that Pakistan earned global respect after victory against India.
