K-pop singer HyunA suffered a frightening on-stage collapse during her performance at the Waterbomb 2025 music festival in Macau.
The incident occurred while she was performing her hit track Bubble Pop, leaving fans shocked and worried about her health.
HyunA, who was one of the headline performers at Waterbomb 2025, unexpectedly lost consciousness during her set. She collapsed while singing Bubble Pop, prompting immediate intervention from her backup dancers and nearby security staff.
One of the guards quickly carried her offstage as the performance was halted.
The collapse appears to be linked to her recent drastic weight loss. HyunA had revealed earlier that she dropped 10 kilograms in just one month, following rumours about weight gain and speculation over a possible pregnancy.
Fans online expressed immediate concern.
One wrote, “She’s sweating profusely! She was most likely ill before this performance. I hope she’s ok!”
Another commented, “Heat exhaustion. I know from personal experience.”
A third user added, “10kg in a month is beyond concerning. There isn’t a healthy way to achieve that.”

History of eainting and health issues
According to Korea Times, HyunA has a history of vasovagal fainting — a condition caused by sudden drops in heart rate or blood pressure. She has also previously spoken about other health challenges.
The singer has mentioned in past interviews that her stamina drops sharply, and she becomes prone to collapsing whenever her body weight falls below 45 kilograms.
After being escorted offstage, HyunA later took to her Instagram Story to apologise to fans and event organisers.
“I’m really sorry. It was a short break between performances, but I wanted to show you my best,” she wrote.
She added that she does not remember the moments surrounding her collapse and felt she had not been “professional” enough.
As of now, the I’m Not Cool singer is reportedly recovering from the incident. She is hopeful about regaining her strength and returning to the stage soon.
