The government has increased the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight, starting from Saturday.
According to the official announcement, the price of petrol has risen by Rs2.43 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs265.45 per litre. The price of high-speed diesel has been raised by Rs3.02 per litre.
The revised prices have taken effect immediately.
