The K-Electric’s (KE) average base tariff has been reduced by Rs7.60 per unit.
According to details, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority’s (Nepra) has revised the base tariff for the K-Electric from Rs39.97 to Rs32.37 per unit.
The Nepra has also issued a decision on the review petitions, rejecting the federal government’s requests concerning the right of claims. The authority upheld its earlier ruling regarding Rs50 billion in claims.
K-Electric has announced it will challenge the new tariff decision.
