The number of deaths in the roof collapse at a private academy in the Sukheki area of Pindi Bhattian has reached seven.
According to initial reports, among the deceased are five children, the rescue workers arrived at the scene two hours after the incident. Families of the victims remained present at the site. Efforts to clear the debris and recover those trapped continued late into the day.
The cause of the collapse has not yet been confirmed. The incident left the local community in shock.
