Umer Shah - the younger brother of internet sensation Ahmad Shah - passed away in the early hours of Monday, leaving his fans worldwide mourning.
Renowned TV anchor Wasim Badami - who shared a close bond with Ahmad Shah and his family - revealed that Umer passed away around the time of Fajr prayers.
“With a heavy heart, I share that according to doctors, his vomit got stuck in his lungs. This blocked his airways and cut off oxygen supply, leading to cardiac arrest,” Badami explained in an emotional video message.
He appeared visibly shaken as he urged the public to pray for the grieving family during this unimaginable loss.

Medical experts describe this tragic condition as aspiration, where stomach contents enter the lungs.
It can cause severe inflammation and blockage of the airways, leading to oxygen deprivation and cardiac arrest within minutes if untreated.
Umer Shah's family confirmed the devastating news through Ahmad Shah’s official social media pages.
“This is to inform the little shining star of our family, Umer Shah, has returned to Allah Almighty. I request everyone to remember him and our family in your prayers,” the post read.
