The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested three suspects, including two foreign nationals, and recovered 109 kilograms of ice heroin during separate operations in Karachi.
In an operation near Saima Jinnah Avenue, officers searched a vehicle and recovered 11.2 kilograms of ice. Three suspects were taken into custody at the scene.
Based on information provided by the suspects, the ANF recovered chemicals and related materials used in the production of ice from a flat.
Further action in Shah Latif Colony led to the seizure of 86.04 kilograms of ice from a warehouse. An additional 12 kilograms, absorbed in clothing, was also recovered.
A 9mm pistol with a magazine and 13 bullets was found in possession of the suspects.
The seized drugs are valued at over US$153.57 million in the international market.
