According to the NDMA spokesperson, intense rain is expected in Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Sharda, Haveli and Kotli. There is a risk of flooding in urban and low-lying areas, while landslides may occur in mountainous regions.
Residents living near rivers, streams and low-lying areas have been advised to remain alert due to the possibility of a sudden increase in water flow.
The NDMA has instructed the public and relevant authorities to ensure precautionary measures and to stay away from vulnerable and low-lying areas.
