Chenab River at Head Qadirabad is experiencing exceptionally high flood levels, with an inflow and outflow of 996,660 cusecs.
The protective embankment at Head Qadirabad has breached, submerging dozens of villages including Rattu, Baho Manga, Rindiyali, Bahri, Kala Shadian, and Chhani. Hundreds of people remain trapped in their homes as rescue operations are underway.
Narowal: Rising Floodwaters in Jajri Drain
The Jajri drain, connected to the Ravi River, is in high flood, with water levels continuously rising. Floodwaters have reached the Circular Road bridge and entered Siddiqui Town, leaving residents stranded inside their homes.
Arifwala: Sutlej River Flood Worsens
The Sutlej River flood situation is worsening, with over 100,000 cusecs of water flowing through the area, according to the assistant commissioner. Large swathes of farmland and villages have been inundated.
Officials warn that water levels may rise to dangerous levels in the coming days.
The administration has intensified relief efforts, urging residents to evacuate immediately. Rescue 1122 teams are working round-the-clock to move people to safe areas.
Nankana Sahib: High Flood at Head Balloki
The Ravi River at Head Balloki is in high flood, with an inflow of 104,695 cusecs and an outflow of 92,795 cusecs. Water levels are continuing to rise, inundating villages including Nawan Kot and Thatta Khokhran.
Floodwaters have damaged crops and livestock, with over 200 villages at risk. Authorities have increased flood rescue and relief camps from five to 27. Section 144 has also been imposed in the riverine belt to prevent public movement in hazardous areas.
