The price of gold in Pakistan and globally continued to rise for the second consecutive day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,000 on Wednesday to reach Rs361,700. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold hiked by Rs857, taking it to Rs310,099.

The global gold market also witnessed a change, with the price of gold per ounce climbing by $10 to reach $3,390.
The silver prices in Pakistan, however, saw an opposing trend with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver dropping by Rs53 to reach Rs4,068, and the price for 10 grams of silver going to Rs3,487.
