The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the 12th grade Science General Group examinations, revealing a tough year for students as nearly half failed to clear the exams.
2 students secure first position
According to the official results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate Part-II Science General Group, Annual Examination, two students jointly secured the first position in the Science General group this year. Their achievement stood out in an otherwise challenging exam session that saw thousands of students struggle.
Pass and fail ratio
The BIEK confirmed that 16,549 students appeared in the exams, out of which only 9,199 passed all papers. This puts the overall success rate at 55.59%, leaving around 45% of students unsuccessful.
