Saudi Arabia has sent relief goods for flood-hit victims in northern Pakistan.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, the send-off ceremony was held in Islamabad. Prominent among those who attended the ceremony were Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, adviser to prime minister Rana Sanaullah.
On this occasion, Al-Malki said: "Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has condoled the losses in the recent flash floods. The relief goods are being dispatched in the country on the behalf of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief)."
"This initiative reflects that the Saudi leadership and masses are standing with the people of Pakistan," Al-Malki said.
Meanwhile, Al-Malki said: "I would like to express my gratitude to the Saudi leadership for standing with Pakistan in these testing times."
"I thank the Saudi leadership on the behalf of the Pakistani masses, premier and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif," Sanaullah maintained.
