Bad weather and heavy rains in Karachi disrupted air operations on Tuesday, leading to multiple flight cancellations and grounding of small training aircraft.
According to aviation sources, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) canceled several flights including PK-308 from Karachi to Islamabad, PK-310 from Karachi to Quetta, PK-536 from Karachi to Sukkur, and the return flight from Sukkur to Karachi. A chartered PIA flight from Karachi to Islamkot was also canceled.

Additionally, flight PA-208 of a private airline from Karachi to Islamabad was canceled, while the PIA flight from Skardu to Karachi was diverted to Sukkur Airport.
Authorities also barred small training aircraft from taking off due to safety concerns. Flying companies were directed to ground their Cessna planes by securing them with weights inside hangars as a precautionary measure.
