An anti-terrorism court in Lahore has ordered the seizure of properties belonging to convicted PTI leaders Dr Yasmin Rashid, Ejaz Chaudhry, Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed, and Omar Sarfraz Cheema in two May 9 arson cases.
ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul also sentenced Dr Yasmin Rashid and Ejaz Chaudhry to 10 years in prison, along with a fine of Rs 600,000 each.
Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed and Omar Sarfraz Cheema were handed the same prison term and fine.
The convicts were found guilty in cases registered at Shadman and Sarwar Road police stations.
The court also issued jail warrants for the sentences and ordered Kot Lakhpat Jail’s superintendent to ensure their implementation.
Meanwhile, the court issued release orders for Shah Mahmood Qureshi in both May 9 cases.
