After witnessing a continuous decline over the past nine days, gold prices in Pakistan rebounded sharply on Saturday, bringing a temporary halt to the downward trend in both local and global markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs6,100, reaching Rs359,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs5,229, now standing at Rs307,784.

The upward movement came after a cumulative drop of Rs12,000 per tola was recorded over the last week and a half, triggering interest among buyers and investors anticipating further declines.
In the international market, gold prices also experienced a significant jump. The price per ounce rose by $61, bringing the global rate to $3,363.
The silver prices in Pakistan also saw a hike, with the rate of a tola of 24-karat silver increasing by Rs53 to reach Rs3,953, and the price for 10 grams of silver to Rs3,389.
