Rescue 1122 has completed preparations for the fourth spell of monsoon rains, which is set to begin on July 21. All leaves for Rescue 1122 personnel have been canceled, according to the department’s spokesperson.
An emergency alert has been declared across the district in view of the upcoming weather. Ambulances, fire vehicles, water rescue teams, and necessary machinery are fully operational and on standby.

Rescue 1122 teams are conducting field exercises and rehearsal drills to ensure readiness. Community Emergency Response Teams have also been activated to assist in emergency situations.
The spokesperson added that teams will provide awareness in different areas about evacuation procedures and first aid measures.
