A local court in Pakpattan on Friday sent Musa Maneka, the son of prominent figure Mian Khawar Farid Maneka and former first lady Bushra Bibi, to jail on a 14-day judicial remand in connection with a firing incident at his father's outhouse.
According to police, the firing incident took place a day earlier, during which an employee was allegedly targeted. Musa Maneka was arrested on charges of opening fire after a verbal altercation. The complainant claimed that the dispute began when some sheets were placed outside a room, which reportedly angered Musa, leading him to fire at the plaintiff’s son.
Police said they recovered a pistol from Musa Maneka following the incident. He was presented before the court today, where officials submitted details of the recovery and initial findings of the investigation.
The court, after hearing the case, sent Musa Maneka to jail on a 14-day judicial remand and directed the police to continue their investigation.

A day ago, the injured youth, identified as Ali Bahadur, had allegedly been shot by Musa Maneka during a heated argument, according to initial reports. Rescue teams reached the site promptly and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Pakpattan police confirmed that a first information report (FIR) has been registered under Section 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code (attempted murder) on the complaint of the victim’s father, Manzoor Ahmed.
The injured victim, Ali Bahadur, told authorities that he tried to flee the scene after the altercation, but Musa caught up with him and shot him.
