Rescue teams have recovered four more bodies of individuals who drowned in rainwater streams in Jhelum and Rawalpindi.
However, the search continues for nine-year-old Hasan Ali, who was swept away near Bhosa Mandi.
In Rawalpindi, the body of 45-year-old Nadeem Akhtar was recovered from a seasonal stream in Gulshan Iqbal, Dhamial.
A 22-year-old laborer, who drowned after water flooded a labor camp near Chakri, and 15-year-old Bilal, who drowned near Khawaja Abad, were also found. Hasan Ali remains missing after being carried away by the current near Bhosa Mandi.
Meanwhile, in Jhelum, the body of police officer Haider, who was swept away while rescuing citizens trapped in floodwaters, has been recovered.
According to the Rescue Incharge Jhelum, 30 more people stranded in floodwaters were safely relocated. The rescue teams have so far saved 498 people who were trapped due to flash flooding, though several areas remain inundated and people are still awaiting assistance.
