Sources divulged on Saturday that the Prime Minister's Office has been directed to make preparations for the possible visit. According to sources, the prime minister's departure will depend on the arrival of US Vice-President JD Vance in Switzerland.
Meanwhile, a new round of technical-level talks between the United States and Iran will take place in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, on June 21.
According to the Foreign Office, the discussions will review progress made since the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The technical negotiations are aimed at assessing developments and implementation efforts undertaken under the agreement between the United States and Iran.
Officials expect the talks to focus on advancing commitments made under the framework established by the Islamabad MoU.
