The price of gold in Pakistan and globally witnessed a massive decrease after a day's hike.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a huge drop of Rs3,000 on Wednesday to reach Rs351,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs2,572, taking it to Rs301,354.

The global gold market also witnessed a big change, with the price of gold per ounce declining by $33 to reach $3,292.
The silver prices in Pakistan, however, remained stable, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver staying at Rs3,841, and the price for 10 grams of silver at Rs3,293.
