Controversial TikToker Kashif Zameer was arrested once again by the Crime Control Department (CCD) in Lahore’s Iqbal Town area, police confirmed on Wednesday.
According to officials, Zameer was taken into custody following the circulation of videos on social media showing his private armed guards brandishing weapons in public. The CCD acted promptly and launched a crackdown, arresting not only the social media personality but also 13 of his heavily armed guards.
Cases have been registered against Kashif Zameer and his security personnel at the CCD police station under multiple sections of the law, including those related to the illegal display of weapons and endangering public safety.
Police sources revealed that a cache of weapons was seized from the guards at the time of arrest. Authorities are now investigating the legality of the firearms and the guards' deployment.

Kashif Zameer, who is known for his lavish lifestyle and social media controversies, has been in the headlines multiple times in the past for his involvement in various legal cases, including fraud and impersonation.
Back in April also, the Lahore police had registered cases against the TikToker and a police constable for mocking the police uniform on social media. The TikToker and constable were both arrested.
The FIRs included serious charges under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) among other laws. The report stated that Zameer had publicly ridiculed the police uniform during a wedding event by presenting a money-filled tray to the police official and showering cash over him, which allegedly undermined the dignity and honour of the police department.
