Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui has strongly criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that the party has lost its strength and is no longer capable of launching or sustaining a political movement.
Expressing his thoughts, Senator Siddiqui said PTI would only see an increase in its troubles and gain nothing else. He added that there had been no meeting with PTI’s founder in prison, nor had any offer been extended to him.
Siddiqui said that no government or establishment representative has met with the PTI founder during his incarceration.
Raising a critical question, Siddiqui asked why PTI is relying on a woman named Mahrang Baloch if it truly has public support ready to take to the streets.
He warned that in a state of desperation, the PTI could even consider forming an alliance with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
The senator said that PTI is no longer in a position to form any kind of political alliance.
