The Indian Army has clarified that it has no information about any drone entering Indian territory from Pakistan, effectively debunking reports of cross-border drone activity in contradiction to claims made by several Indian media outlets.
“The situation on the border remains peaceful and under control,” the Indian Army said, rejecting the wave of misinformation circulating in Indian media, including reports from prominent journalist Barkha Dutt and others, which accused Pakistan of drone violations.
Moreover, security sources from Pakistan have also strongly refuted the allegations, calling Indian media's reports "fabricated and misleading." They asserted that none of Pakistan’s drones had crossed the international border or the Line of Control (LoC).
“Once again, Indian media has become a breeding ground for lies. These false claims serve no purpose other than stoking tensions and spreading propaganda,” the Pakistani security sources said.
The officials further emphasized that Pakistan continues to fully respect the ceasefire agreement and has shown restraint despite Indian violations. “On the contrary, it is Indian drones that are repeatedly violating the ceasefire along the LoC and Working Boundary,” they noted.
