Punjab Information and Culture Minister Azma Bukhari has confirmed that all schools, colleges, and educational institutions across the province will remain open as per their regular schedule tomorrow (Thursday).
Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the minister wrote, “All schools, colleges and educational institutions in Punjab will open as usual tomorrow.”

Her statement comes amid circulating rumours and social media posts regarding the possible closure of educational institutions, which had sparked confusion among students and parents alike.

Similarly, Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has reiterated that no decision has been taken on extending holidays in educational institutions and no notification issued in this regard.
"Educational activities will continue as usual from tomorrow. The notification about holidays circulating on social media is fake," he stated.
On Tuesday night, in light of the security situation after India's attack on Pakistan and the following retaliation, all educational institutions across Punjab were closed for Wednesday. Authorities urged students and parents to stay updated through official channels for further instructions.
