Google has officially rolled out Google Wallet in Pakistan, enhancing the digital payments ecosystem with contactless payments, online transactions, and in-app purchases.
The service integrates with local banks, allowing users to make fast and secure transactions.
How to set up Google Wallet in Pakistan:
Setting up Google Wallet is simple:
- Download the Google Wallet app from the Google Play Store.
- If you have a linked debit or credit card, it will automatically appear in your wallet.
- Tap “Add a card” to manually add a new one.
- Follow the verification process to tokenize your card.
- Once added, you can use your phone for contactless and online payments.

- Merchants: Expanding through Safepay’s platform for contactless in-store payments
With upcoming integrations, more banks and merchants will join Google Wallet, making digital payments in Pakistan safer, easier, and widely accessible.
