Sindh government will look after the affairs of Saram Burney Welfare Trust at the request of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The Social Welfare Department DG issued the notification. The FIA had written a letter on behalf of Saram Burney on the child trafficking case. He is accused of trafficking children from Pakistan to America.
Earlier, the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) arrests Karachi-based human rights activist Sarim Burney on the charges of human trafficking. FIA team Burni was arrested as he reached Karachi Airport over charges of transporting and getting 17 children adopted ‘illegally’ in the U.S.
