Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday after gaining for seven consecutive days, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs3,500 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped to Rs460,436 per tola.
Gold had gained around Rs36,000 per tola during the previous seven days before Thursday's decline.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also fell by Rs3,001 to Rs394,749.
Gold falls in international market
In the international market, gold prices declined by $35 per ounce to $4,380.
The drop followed a strong rally in precious metals, with investors closely monitoring developments in global markets and economic conditions.
Silver prices also decline
Silver prices also recorded a decline in Pakistan.
The price of 24-karat silver fell by Rs175 per tola to Rs6,936.
