Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Friday, reversing the previous session's gains as international bullion prices also moved lower.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,400 per tola, bringing it down to Rs432,436.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs1,200 to Rs370,744, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold dropped by Rs1,100 to Rs339,861.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $14 to $4,100 per ounce, contributing to the fall in domestic prices.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. The price of 24-karat silver increased by Rs11 per tola to Rs6,432, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs10 to Rs5,514.
International silver prices also edged up by 11 cents to $59.53 per ounce.
Local gold prices are determined based on movements in the international bullion market and Pakistan's interbank exchange rate.
