US President Donald Trump gave rapper Nicki Minaj a surprise shoutout during a luncheon at the White House Rose Garden, describing the Grammy-nominated artist as "hot," "respected," and "very talented."
Speaking at the event on July 6, Trump praised Minaj in front of attendees, highlighting her support and influence.
"We also have a woman that is so respected and so hot and so great and such a great friend of, I don't say conservative, I say of common sense," Trump said.
He continued by applauding the rapper's career and popularity.
"She's a fantastic person and she's a woman that's respected by everybody and she's got real talent: Nicki Minaj."

Following the event, Minaj posted photos from the luncheon on social media, captioning them with "#WhiteHouseBarbie," giving fans a glimpse of her White House visit.

The rapper has publicly expressed support for Trump over the past year and recently appeared at Turning Point USA's annual convention, where she also showed support for the late Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk.
Minaj has previously credited Trump with giving "hope" to many Americans.
