Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan praised on Saturday the Pakistan’s measures in the fields of security, development and prosperity.
The remarks were made during a joint press conference with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He said the discussions covered bilateral relations as well as regional and international matters.
Erdogan expressed satisfaction with the level of progress in relations between the two countries, stating that Turkiye and Pakistan would continue to stand by each other.

He added that the Islamabad memorandum held significant importance for global peace, stressing support for efforts aimed at achieving security and prosperity.

Erdogan said that ways to enhance trade, investment and economic cooperation were also discussed, including the development of special economic zones through continued coordination between the relevant ministries.
The Turkish president said his country would encourage the business community to invest in Pakistan, adding that Ankara and Islamabad would continue working together for a more prosperous future.
He maintained that Pakistan’s steps in security, development and prosperity were worthy of appreciation.
