Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar said on Saturday that serious questions have been raised in India over policy of “manufactured global glory”.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Tarar said that the issuance of new awards shortly before foreign visits has drawn scrutiny, with timing seen as raising questions.

Tarar remarked that this approach to image-building has become a source of embarrassment for its promoters, adding that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has, over the years, presented such honours as evidence of international acceptance.
