United States Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A Baker has stated that relations between Pakistan and the United States are currently at their highest level in history.
Speaking at a ceremony marking 250 years of American independence in Islamabad, she said that Pakistan has gained significant importance on the global stage.
She said that President Donald Trump maintains regular contact with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
The US envoy stated that Pakistan has come into sharper focus internationally due to its mediation efforts between the United States and Iran.
