Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has reiterated that India will face an even stronger response if it attempts any misadventure in the future.
Speaking to the media outside Parliament House, Asif said India would not forget its defeat in the recent conflict for centuries. He maintained that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared at all times to respond to any act of aggression.
The defence minister said arrangements would also be made to counter Indian proxies operating in Afghanistan. He added that the rhetoric heard in Azad Jammu and Kashmir was not the language of any Pakistani or Kashmiri, but reflected India's narrative.
Asif alleged that certain individuals based in the United Kingdom were providing support and funding to fuel such activities, adding that Indian proxies were also active there.
Asif said Pakistan would also make full arrangements to counter any form of water aggression. He added that no one would be allowed to take even a single drop of Pakistan’s water.
